Bhutanese in Australia celebrated Tihar with various activities this year. Reports received from Sydney, Tasmania, Adelaide, Melbourne, Cairns, Brisbane and Darwin mention that the Tihar festivities increased this year compared to last year.

Playing Deusi and Vailo in cultural setting taking off from their busy work schedules, exchange of greetings and gifts mark the Tihar activities. The increasing number of community members helped to celebrate festival in better way, organised way.
